Our coffee walk

o                                                        My stalk walk
It was a cold day, and we all needed a coffee so where else would us Canadians go other than Tim Hortons. We stood in the line up for 5 or so minutes when I saw him. Sitting in the corner reading a newspaper, he seemed like he couldn’t step away from it. Why though? Was there something in there that was so important that he could not look at it? I went off into a day dream at that point. Maybe there was an interesting article on a murder, or update on the city council election but what ever it might have been I wanted to know, and it bugged me that I didn't know. He licked his finger and turned the page. Off to a new story I guess. What was this one about? Up coming movies at the Pen Mar, or was it an award for a school student who did something outstanding? Every once in a whille he would break the concentration of reading his paper, to take a sip of coffee, and a bit of his bagel that was covered with what look like strawberry creme cheese. Yum. Some one called his name from across the store, I couldn't make out the name but he was in full attention. A young man with shaggy blonde hair sat across the small table from this mas, and they shook hands and began in an imbreakable conversation. Every once and a whille you would hear the two of them break into laughter. It was quite funny to hear it. After about 10 or 15 minutes of these two talking the yound man dismissed himself, and left. Soon after he followed behind dragging his feet behind him. With the way that he walks I am surprised that he still has rubber on his shoes. But none-the-less he is gone and it was time to make our way back to the school, back down the cold walkway.
